I would love to give you a detailed description of this gorgeous book - but no sooner had I unboxed it than I was wrapping it up for some lucky young man’s 8th birthday! But from the quick glance I had inside the cover I can tell you that it is full of informative bite-size facts accompanied by really beautiful detailed illustrations - I will definitely try to keep my hands on the next copy long enough to have a proper look!
It really is true - fab books sell themselves!!

The reader has to solve the clues to crack the code and navigate their way through the story!! A sort of choose-your-own-adventure vibe, but with puzzles!

Quick reminder: The Little Bookshop will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday 18th, as it’s Hemelvaart in the Netherlands and it seems pretty much all the shops in the village will be closed. But we will be open again on Friday!

And - if you’re still reading this, we’ll done! - another quick heads-up that we will be closed from 26/05 to 3/06 as we are hopefully finally going on the NY jolly that has been postponed twice already thanks to bl**dy Covid!
