All sorts of weird and freaky things have started appearing in the village shop windows…can you spot them all?!

Words cannot do this fabulous book justice (but sit back and watch me try!) - it is so much more than a picture book, it’s a visual feast for your imagination. The text is simple yet so so perfect… The illustrations and whole concept are genius. How lucky are we to have talents like Oliver Jeffers making magic come to life for readers young and old. What a time to be alive!

In other random news - has anyone tried the home-baked pumpkin tray cake from @bagelalley ?? No…?!? Go and try it right now - you can thank me later! (And a big thank you to L, S and O who introduced us to it yesterday - it was delicious!)

YES - Kids Only Book Club is back!!

Kids Only Book Club is exactly what it says: a book club just for kids! No grown ups. No Mums and Dads. JUST KIDS!
(…and me, but it’s my bookshop so I get to make the rules - plus someone has to provide the snacks and keep the madness to a minimum!)

Basic info…
• WHERE : The Little Bookshop, Wassenaar
• WHEN : First Thursday of the month, 4.30-5.30pm
• AGES : 9+
• PRICE : €20 per session (to include the Book of the Month - often a newly released title - a drink and a snack)

Our first meeting will be on Thursday 2nd December - we’ll be revealing our chosen book tomorrow!!
(It’s gorgeous - I’m beyond excited!)

If you’re interested please get in touch with Lou via social media or email (info@the-little-bookshop.nl) - please don’t tell her in person in the shop as she’ll just write your name down on a random piece of paper and then promptly lose it…
